Nokia N97

Nokia N97

The Nokia N97 is the tip of the spear in Nokia's smartphone lineup. It is the most powerful, smartest and fully featured phone of the company. It is also the first Nokia phone to make use of a large touch-display and that alone has raised the expectations from die hard Nokia fans that have refused to switch over to the iPhone. And Nokia has put quite a lot of work and thought in the N97. I had a first look when Nokia was still developing the N97 and I was looking forward to get my hands on the final product. In this review, I will tell you how I used it, and how well it did. Does the Nokia N97 live up to the hype

My name is Khan

What's the actual price?
So what's the actual price of MY NAME IS KHAN? Has Fox Star Studios India paid a massive Rs. 100 crores for the global rights of the film [excluding music rights]? Or is the actual price Rs. 81 crores? The speculation continues... "It's a privilege to be associated with Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. It can't get bigger than that. But the price is completely not 100 crores or 81 crores. I wouldn't like to reveal the exact numbers, but it's completely off the mark," Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios India, breaks his silence on this topic.

But what holds significance is that the film in question would be released extensively in the international markets. "MY NAME IS KHAN has tremendous international appeal and would be released by Fox Searchlight in America and 20th Century Fox across the globe. We aren't looking at a fancy print count to begin with, but we would take it beyond the Indian diaspora. Like SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE was released at a mere 10 screens when it started out in America, but the screen count gradually rose to almost 3,000, thanks to a systematic strategy. That would be the strategy for MY NAME IS KHAN as well," Vijay Singh divulges.

Rani HADIPPA

Will Rani really be saying HADIPPA
Its no secret that Rani Mukherjee is a favourite of the Yash Raj camp and a particular Chopra too, but the once hip, hot and happening actress is no longer as slim and trim as she once used to be. Rani’s last few releases be it - Laaga Chunari Mein, KANK and even Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic haven’t really been up to the mark and the lusty lady is being forgotten amongst the new trend setters in Bollywood, be it Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor or even Priyanka Chopra. The promo’s of her latest offering show Rani in a new light and looks like she’s put in a lot of effort to look the way she is looking. However she must be desperately clinching her fists and praying that the hard work she has put into this movie pays off as she very certainly needs a hit to her name. If the film sinks could it possibly be that she will also sink with it. Unfortunately age catches up with everyone and lets face it with SRK romancing a younger girl each time could it be that there is no longer room for this Mukherjee in Mumbai?Don’t get me wrong she’s a fantastic actress and has some magnificent hits to her name. But could it be that she is no longer the reigning Rani she used to be?

Hiritik Roshan on GQ magazine

Hiritik Roshan on GQ magazine
After having won a million hearts (and it's not an exaggeration), the supremely talented Hrithik Roshan is back in the front and how! If his cover snap on the latest edition of the GQ magazine is anything to go by, then, Bollywood is all set to herald the re-birth of a Superstar!

One man who has all the luck in the world is Martin Prihoda, the very name who has to his credit of taming the superstar Hrithik, in his lenses. If you are one of the faint hearted, then, may we request you to kindly hold onto your heart beats and tie yourself tight as the interview in this magazine will anyways blow you out of the world! In what could be called as one of the most heartfelt interviews, Hrithik has really bared out his soul to the guys at GQ.

Hrithik, the man, in his own words, speaks about all the adulation by saying that "You get so confused between the person that you are and the persona that is projected on to that big, huge screen. I've been on stage where I have 40,000 people shouting my name." While on Bollywood, he opines that "I've reached a stage where I have enough courage... to do films I believe in, whether they're considered commercial or non-commercial. It really doesn't matter so much." And for all those who were dying to know the 'Real' Hrithik and didn't know whom to ask, the superstar has done the needful by saying that "I am my own product. And I have to take care of myself. I have to display myself in the best possible way. My light, my expressions, my clothes, everything has to go right. That's going to get me my name, my fame, my bread-and-butter, my money for me and my family."
